We are waiting, here, at Lucam Lodge, we are waiting to hear something more than 'nothing to do with us!' which is what we appear to be getting from Genesis Housing Association now.
I wonder what their response would be if we took the same line with their need for our contributions to their service charge?
We are now being told that they did not know we were leaseholders here (?) the person originally cited as being the responsible person in regard to our lift and maintenance problems is not so now, being an administrator (?) with nothing to do with us or our lifts (?)
(Yes I know, too many question marks! Exactly how we feel!)
So, that person being an administrator one would naturally assume they are able to read, write and maybe even find the ability to use a telephone (?)
With such skills to hand I would have thought they would have been quite capable of a; referring our queries to the proper desk, b; contacted my neighbours correcting our misunderstandings, thereby c; complying fully with the Genesis HA code of conduct!
The whole mess may possibly have been long sorted by now too!
As it is we are now awaiting a response from yet another unknown entity.
Ah well, at least the sun is shining!
Enjoying our late summer sunshine, totally without any thoughts of Genesis,
for a short while at least!
